Merry Christmas–Ready for 2026?

I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year to all of my subscribers! As we celebrate God coming to earth in humility as a baby in a lowly manger to redeem us from our sin, let us remember the King of Kings who will once again step into the time and space of our world in power and glory to establish his kingdom and “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:9).

Thank you for your prayers and help in spreading the word and warning the Bride to get ready for Christ’s return. My apologies for the long delay in posting. When I don’t feel something specific that I need to share, I don’t. I know that can be interpreted in different ways, but it just means I’m busy or I don’t have anything pressing to say that is new. Believe me, when I feel compelled by the Lord to write something, I can’t ignore it for long. 😉

In this update I’m going to share with you what I’ve been up to, how my next book Finding Solomon is going, how things went in Israel, how to sign up for a new Telegram channel I started, and what I’m expecting heading into 2026…

I am still committed to the timeline that I last presented, and expect 2026 to be even crazier than 2025. And I think most people would agree that one way or another things have been escalating since 2020. This next Fall 2026 will begin the last shemitah year before the final Year of Jubilee begins in the Fall of 2027. That will probably be another inflection point for worsening birth pain conditions, but we’ll have to wait and see if that is noticeably the case, or not.

I also think that the general sheltering of Israel and the Abraham Accords will hold until the Spring in 2027 when their 1260 days of being sheltered by the two wings of a great eagle will come to end. [Assuming, of course, that we are actually in them now, which I think is probably true but can’t really prove until we get to the end the current 1260 days since October 7th, 2023 and we see if anything changes]. That would mean the Abraham Accords might begin to fall apart in Spring and be abolished by the Fall of 2027.

I had a recent interview with Pastor Xavier Vincent of New Wine Ministry that will give you my latest updates about my thoughts and why I’m still watching for 2027. Video title: LIVE WITH DR CHRISTIAN WIDENER on Vincent Xavier

Do I think the rapture could happen in 2026? With all the signs presenting themselves at moment, I wouldn’t rule it out entirely. After all, no one really KNOWS. But I think there are still some things that need to happen first–chiefly, the man of lawlessness declaring himself to be God in God’s temple. My best estimate is somewhere between June and October in 2027, and that really is coming up fast. But may we pray and hope for the Lord’s return to be very soon. Maranatha!

There have been lots of things happening in the world that are noteworthy and that should be causing the Church to wake up and realize that one way or another the Lord’s return is likely fast approaching. And as important as they may be, I haven’t seen anything that contradicts the present timeline, so I won’t include anything about recent events in this update. However, I did start a Telegram channel, where I can post articles that I think are noteworthy with a few quick comments, etc. If you’d like to follow me there my channel is also called End Times Berean. Or you can scan the QR code here to join:

So, the biggest thing I have been up to lately is trying to finish my third book, Finding Solomon: Rediscovering the Works of Israel’s Greatest Builder. This book has been in the works for 5 years, and I had just about given up ever getting it finished, but I felt a green light from the Lord and some wind in my sails coming back from our last trip to Israel this Fall. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I hope to have it finished by February. Here’s my thought for the cover…

Book cover for 'Finding Solomon: Rediscovering the Works of Israel's Greatest Builder' featuring an illustration of King Solomon holding a staff with stone walls in the background.

The main idea is that Solomon’s work has been hiding in plain sight and is visible all over Israel, especially in Jerusalem, but scholars and archaeologists have been attributing his work to others. They have ignored the fact that the Bible says Solomon had 150,000 men cutting and hauling stone for 20 years to build the Temple, his palace, and the great courtyard of the Temple. That means Solomon used 3 MILLION MAN-YEARS of stonemason labor to build them! That much stonework simply CANNOT be lost. Either the Bible is wrong or the scholars are wrong. I’m sure you know that I think that means the scholars are wrong–the Bible certainly is not!

The evidence has just gotten more compelling as I have worked on putting the case together in the book, but with everything else happening prophetically, I wasn’t sure that it mattered. But I recently had some additional understanding about why Solomon is important at this time. He is both a picture of the nation of Israel and the coming kingdom of Jesus on Earth during the Millennium. He is a picture of Israel because Solomon started off really well, then fell away and followed after other gods for the majority of his reign, and then returned to the Lord before the end of his life (as evidenced by the book of Ecclesiastes), which is what we are now awaiting for the Jewish people, i.e., looking on the one whom they pierced and mourning in repentance. But Solomon is also a picture of the coming reign of Christ over all the earth and his reign from sea to sea when all the promises to Israel will be fulfilled. Remember that many of the messianic prophecies about the nation of Israel were written long after the time of Solomon (see the book of Isaiah).

My wife, Consuelo and I really had an amazing time in Israel this Fall. Filming with Josh and Caleb Colson, the Bearded Bible Brothers, and Pastor Hirchie Shaffner in Israel was awesome. They’ll be starting to put out some content soon from our trip (hopefully beginning in January) that will cover the Temple location, the Decree Everyone Missed, and even Solomon. There will be multiple episodes over the coming year. You can follow their ministry on their website: https://beardedbiblebros.com.

I also got some time with Chris Mitchell and Joshua Swanson of CBN Jerusalem Dateline that was really blessed and I think may open up some additional contacts and coverage in 2026. They put out a lot of awesome updates about what is going on in Jerusalem and Israel at CBN Jerusalem Dateline: https://cbn.com/news/jerusalem-dateline

I led a 3-hour tour on the Temple Mount for a group traveling with Jim and Rosemary Garlow of Well Versed World (https://wellversedworld.org). Dr. Jim Garlow is a pastor, author, speaker, and an influencer for Christ in government. We went over the whole area and were blessed to see everything we wanted to without any difficulties. Praise the Lord! We talked about the Temple location, the Decree Everyone Missed, many specific prophecies that have been fulfilled in recent years on the Temple Mount, and how Solomon’s work is still on display at the Temple Mount (which will be described in detail in my book when it is released). You can watch some highlights from the tour here: https://wellversedworld.org/media/729qn3y/wpn-call-495-young-gen-z-brandon-shares-insights-regarding-the-temple-mount

The Lord also helped me get a meeting with Rabbi Yehuda Glick to talk about the temple location and the findings in my book, The Temple Revealed, which I hope will be accomplish all that the Lord intends. Yehuda found my arguments sensible and compelling but only the Lord knows what that may lead to. He has a growing ministry to young widows in Israel with children. I thought that would mean widows from the war in Gaza, but most of them have tragically been due to cancer, heart problems, etc., at abnormally young ages in recent years. Here is the ministry link: https://www.amitsim.com.

And we were very blessed to meet with Jeff Morgan of So Be It! on YouTube with Jews for Jesus. He is beginning a new ministry, Highway 53, doing street evangelism in Israel. It’s a wonderful and much needed job that we need to pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send out more workers into the field to bring in. You’ll still be able to find Jeff’s old YT videos on the So Be It! Jews for Jesus channel, but his new stuff is now posting at Highway 53 on YouTube (@Highway53). I’ve also posted a link to one of his more recent videos below. He’s stepping out on faith and trusting the Lord to provide, so if you’re looking for someone who is doing bonafide evangelism in Israel on a regular basis he could use the support. 🙂

And finally, we even caught a special impromptu praise and worship night with Joshua Aaron (https://www.joshuaaaron.tv) and Aaron Shust (https://www.aaronshust.com) at Christ Church in the Old City of Jerusalem. What a blessed night of worshipping our Lord and Savior as we wait expectantly for Christ’s return. They are both amazing artists and they truly love the Lord and Israel. You’ve probably heard one or both of these musicians before, but if not, then I hope you will check out their music on their websites, YT, or your favorite music app.

We give all the praise to the Lord for opening up doors for us in Israel and getting us to all these wonderful places, and even more than what I can mention here. We only had 4 of 14 days planned when we got on our flight to Israel but the Lord filled up every day for us in the most wonderful ways. We believed the Lord was calling us to go, so we went, and He absolutely confirmed to us that He had done so. Thank you again for your prayers while we were there! Hallelujah! 🙂

Again, thank you for your prayers and for helping to get the word out about all these signs that have been happening and why Christians need to start thinking about whether or not they are really ready for the Lord to return.

May we be found ready when He comes (Luke 12:38), and Maranatha!

Christian
