In this issue we will explore the startling changes that have begun to go into effect in Israel with the arrival of a new right wing government and what this may mean for the return of some of the sacrifices to Israel in the near-term, i.e. maybe this coming Passover!
Now, if you haven’t finished reading my latest book, Witnessing the End, make sure you do, or get a hold of copy (available on Amazon or you can just download a free .pdf), and read it. Without knowing the findings in that book, some of what I’m talking about in these newsletters might sound unreasonable, but once you’ve seen all of the evidence that we could be living the final seven years of man’s corrupt rule on the earth, these updates and checks on progress are going to seem a whole lot more significant.
Also, there is a real chance that a Jewish temple (or House of Prayer for All Nations) is going to be rebuilt soon as well. If you don’t have my first book, The Temple Revealed, it will explain the facts that you need to know about the true temple location as revealed in prophecy, history, and archaeology.
Now, why would I just start giving away free .pdf copies of my book? Is this some sort of a gimmick? No, it’s not. I just think we are really that close to the return of the Lord, and I want as many people to understand these things as the Lord allows. By all means, if after reading them you want to buy some copies to give away and share, please do, but I’ve just come to feel that it’s important to share these books with anyone who is willing to read them.
And I had some great news this past week. A friend, Shirley Crow, who was recently on a tour of Israel with Yehuda Glick (a well-recognized leader in the efforts to rebuild a Jewish temple), was able to give him a copy of my book for me. đ I’m trusting the Lord for the outcome of that, but my few loaves and fish have been delivered (with the help of a faithful friend). If the Lord is willing, that will be enough.
Now, about the return of sacrifices…
Those of you who have been reading my books and newsletters may already know this, but currently, there are only two sacrifices that Jewish rabbis would say could be performed at the present time, a Passover lamb and the Red Heifer. The Passover lamb must be sacrificed on the Temple Mount, and the Red Heifer must be sacrificed on the Mount of Olives with a direct line of sight towards the Temple Mount.
Both sacrifices could be performed in this year, 2023…
The Passover lamb can only be sacrificed on the 14th of Nisan (April 5th, 2023), or if that was prevented by reasons outside of the control of the priests, then it could also be offered on the 14th of Sivan (June 3rd, 2023) as an alternative (per Mosaic law). The key point is that the instruction to sacrifice the lamb applies even if a priest is unclean. At the present time, without the ashes of the red heifer to purify themselves, all Jewish people would be considered unclean for offering sacrifices.
Okay, so if the Jews could have already offered a Passover sacrifice for all these years, why haven’t they?
First, they have been petitioning the government to give them permission to do just that for at least a decade, but their requests have always denied. Second, rabbinic leaders used to say (and many still do) that it is forbidden for Jews to even ascend the Temple Mount for fear that they might accidentally walk over the area of the temple and its holy places. That prohibition is really unfounded, but it was a successful deterrent for many years.
So what has changed?
The present government, and in particular, the person in charge of approving those requests just changed this January. The request now goes to Itamar Ben Gvir, the newly appointed National Security Minister, who may for the first time look favorably at this request. Why? Well, first of all, practically his first act was minister was to visit the Temple Mount, in spite of the tremendous global pressure not to do so.
And there seems to be no stopping the Abraham Accords…
When the first Abraham Accord nations signed on in September of 2020, few considered that it might be more than a precursor to the “confirmation of the covenant” mentioned by Daniel in chapter 9, verse 27. The primary reason for that is because it hasn’t unfolded the way most people have imagined that the Antichrist would put together a seven-year peace deal with Israel. After all, we can’t even put our finger on who the Antichrist could be at this point. But I’m thinking that we were never meant to be able clearly identify him until the Abomination of Desolation and the beginning of his 42 month reign in the middle of the seven years. Consequently, I think it’s still a mystery, but one that must be revealed in the next 14 months or so, if we truly have already entered into Daniel’s seventieth week. Let’s watch and see. Irregardless, the current Abraham Accords look to be growing and are something to be watching.
Well, unfortunately, the more time goes on, the more it really does look like we are inexorably moving towards an undeniable World War III scenario, which could bring War, Famine, and Pestilence together to bring about the death of the quarter of the earth that is prophesied in Revelation 6:8.
“According to a recent Pew Research Survey, in the U.S., 39% of people believe âwe are living in the end times.â Most people in America, however, 58%, say that they donât think these are the worldâs last days.”
The third world war has already started, according to one of Franceâs leading intellectuals, Emmanuel Todd. Speaking to Le Figaro last week, the anthropologist and historian claimed that, contrary to the prevailing idea that Russia has more to lose than its liberal opponents, the West, too, has entered into an âexistentialâ conflict. âItâs obvious that the [Ukraine] conflict, which started as a limited territorial war and escalated to a global economic confrontation between the whole of the West on the one hand and Russia and China on the other hand, has become a world war,â Todd told the French newspaper.
Well, I think it means that we are really are in the beginnings of Daniel’s Seventieth Week and are nearing the middle of it (Spring 2024), when all this idea of two periods of 490 years (Seventy Weeks) will be either finally fully confirmed or refuted. As I’ve been watching these events unfold for the past two and half to three years, things just keeping moving in the same direction.
There is a lot more that could be said, but I prefer not to speculate too much, but to just keep watching these trends and where things are going, like tracking the movement of a hurricane to see if and where it will make landfall. This is just another update to let you know that I think it looks like the signs are still telling us the same thing — Get ready for the Lord’s Return, the Bridegroom is almost here.
The birth pains are underway, and even the recent devastating earthquake in Turkey seems to be warning us that hard times are ahead.
But do not lose heart, our redemption is drawing near. Talk to your friends about the Lord and about what is going on. Ask the Lord for wisdom and discernment to know what He wants you to do with these days that He has given you. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen!
