Is Trump a Jehu for America?

Wow! What an amazing result in the U.S. Elections on Tuesday, November 5th. We must not forget that the results were no less under God’s sovereign control than in 2020, but the outcome was so much better. Hallelujah!

I’ve been concentrating on making my own videos lately, so I hope you have been able to check out most of them. The latest one is about looking for the Rapture.

There has been an awful lot going on these past few months, but I don’t think we’ve seen anything yet. By the time we are settling into 2025, I expect things will start to look pretty wild and eerily prophetic. One of those things that is worth watching are the prophetic looking convergences around President Trump.

Is Trump a Jehu?

In 2017, Jonathan Cahn published a book called The Paradigm. In it, he compares the political careers of Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump to Ahab, Jezebel, Joram, and Jehu. It’s a great book and his comparisons are well worth considering.

One of the big findings though is how the length of the political careers of those U.S. politicians seem to match those of the ancient leaders of Israel. For example, Bill Clinton held various executive offices for 22 years, which is the same number of years that King Ahab reigned over Israel. Likewise, Hillary Clinton’s time when she was connected to the throne of Israel was the same Jezebel’s. Then, like Joram, who reigned over Israel for 12 years, Barack Obama’s career from U.S. Senator to President of the United States lasted for the same number of total years.

But then we get to Jehu, to whom one could compare the life and political career of Donald Trump; however, Jehu reigned over Israel for 28 years. Hence, the pattern must surely be broken in Donald Trump because it is inconceivable that at his age that he could continue another 24 years in public office. But then I was reading in 2 Kings, chapter 12:

In the seventh year of Jehu, Joash became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem forty years. His mother’s name was Zibiah; she was from Beersheba. Joash did what was right in the eyes of the LORD all the years Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

2 Kings 12:1-2

Hmm. So? What’s the big deal? Well, here’s the interpretation and application:

In the seventh year of Jehu, a righteous king arose in Jerusalem…

Thus, might this pattern end with the return of Jesus, the great king, to Jerusalem to vanquish His enemies, in the seventh year of Trump? He’s already had four years in office, so 2025 would be his fifth, 2026 his sixth, and 2027 his seventh. Consequently, if the pattern of the Paradigm is correct, and it sure seems to fit, then it also points us to the return of Jesus in 2027, which is the same time that I think the decree everyone missed points to, which I spell out in my book Witnessing the End.

But that’s not all, if you have followed Jonathan Cahn’s book, The Harbinger (2011), which compares the attack against the United States on 9/11 to the warnings and judgments given in Isaiah chapter 9 about the impending judgment of the 10 northern tribes, then there is another amazing convergence with the timeline that I have proposed for Daniel’s seventieth week, i.e., the last week (7 years) of Daniel 9:24-27.

Terrorists attacked the United States on September 11, 2001. Then on March 11, 2020, a global pandemic was declared and the U.S. economy began to tumble, and really the economies of the whole world went into a dramatic decline. Many recognized this as the beginning of God’s judgment on America, particularly because there was also a hotly contested election “loss” that over the past four years has proven to be one of the worst presidencies in U.S. history. The change of presidency and the real down-turn of America came on January 20, 2021. This gives us a period of 18-20 years between those two events.

Could those events have anything to do with the fall of Israel prophesied in Isaiah 9:8-21? Well, Israel was attacked by king Pul (Tiglath-Pileser) of the Assyrians on the east side of the Jordan, which included the tribes of Gad, the Reubenites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, in 740 BC (1 Chronicles 5:26). Then between 722-720 BC Samaria was finally overthrown and destroyed by the Assyrians. The precise determination of the fall of Samaria is a little tricky because it looks like the battle was started by one king (by Shalmaneser V) and finished by another (Sargon I).

Consequently, there was more or less the same amount of time (i.e., 18-20 years) between Israel’s first big warning of impending judgment and their later destruction as the length of time that passed in America between the attacks on 9/11 and COVID and Trump was ousted from the White House, bringing about a massive change in America’s fortune. Jonathan Cahn sets the number at 19 years, and one could certainly see that as a good middle estimate.

The Harbinger prophecy also coincides with the start date for the final seven years before the return of Jesus Christ, i.e., 2020, that emerged from the decree everyone missed. Which comes from the realization that America probably has to decrease in order for Jesus Christ to increase, which could be an interesting prophetic parallelism to the life of John the Baptist (thinking of John 3:30). The majority of end times teaching and warning for people to get ready for the return of the Lord has come out of America. Not to mention that the first coming of Christ was announced by wise men from the East, but one could argue that this time His second coming is being announced by “wise men” from the West. Something to consider at least… 🙂

So What Does the Future Now Hold for America?

Recognizing that by this model America should have already “fallen” in 2020 and yet we are still here, combined with Trump’s election on November 5th, gives me hope. Not hope that Trump will be able to “Make America Great Again” and save the world, I think that possibility is already gone and belongs to our coming King Jesus to save the whole world. I’m talking about a hope that America may remain a place of refuge and protection (at least in many parts of it) until Jesus comes on the clouds to gather His elect. I’m referring to a hope that President Trump and a Republican majority in the House and Senate will make significant steps to restrain the evil that has been taking over America and turning this nation towards laws and actions that are unbiblical and self-destructive.

The reason I have this hope is because of the repeated idea in Scripture that God can relent from the judgment He has planned. Obviously not for the end of days in its totality, but in the lives of many individuals and possibly even for some nations. Only God knows, but we have the promise to the Church of Philadelphia to hope for.

To the Church in Philadelphia

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.

I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Revelation 3:7-13

Let me start by saying that there are lots of ways that this letter to the church of Philadelphia can be understood, and I think that there is more than one right answer. One way to think about it, however, might be to consider the true portion of the Church that lives in America. Now, before someone starts objecting that 1) there are solid faithful believers all over the world, not just in America, and 2) that America is more likely to be Babylon, not the church of Philadelphia, let me just say that America is a spring out of which flows both sweet and bitter (fresh and salty) water (James 3:9-12). Granted, that should not be, as James wrote, and yet just like believers who have both blessing and cursing coming from their mouths, America is both a source of good and amazing things and dreadful and sinful things. Furthermore, I’m not saying that there won’t be many other places that will also be out-of-the-way, “Church of Philadelphia” refuges that are scattered all over the world, because I think that there will be.

But back to the comparison with America. First, the Church of Philadelphia has an open door that no one can shut. No doubt, Christians have been under some assault in America regarding their freedoms. Nevertheless, Americans still enjoy some of the greatest freedoms and opportunities of any place in the world. If the Church in America has an open door that no one can shut, might that not mean, particularly with the recent election of Donald Trump and Republican dominated political seats across the country, that Christian freedoms are going to continue until the Lord returns to gather His Church? And if there is going to yet be a great harvest before the end, won’t there need to be some open doors to share the Gospel?

Next, in the letter, is a reference to the church having only a little strength. Many Christians from foreign countries have remarked that signs and wonders seem to be lacking in America, but that in their own countries they have seen greater and more numerous supernatural works of the Holy Spirit. If that is a generally accurate characterization of America, then one might say that this trait also fits.

And perhaps even more telling, it says that the Jews would be forced to acknowledge that the Church of Philadelphia is loved by God. Again, if we picture America here, then the growing recognition of Jews in Israel and around the world that American Christians, in particular, have been the strongest champions of the state of Israel in world would seem to fulfill that aspect, too. And there are definite signs that the support of American Christians (and other Israel supporting Christians around the world) is beginning to make a difference in the hearts of the Jewish nation.

Then it says that they have kept God’s command to endure patiently and so He will keep them from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world. But what does that mean, and when is the hour of testing? The hour of testing could include the seals, trumpets, and bowls, or more likely just the trumpets and bowls, or possibly the bowls alone. In my last video about Looking for the Rapture, I explain how the gathering of the elect must come before the end, based on 1 Corinthians 15:23-24.

But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

That would seem to rule out the gathering happening after the seals, trumpets, and bowls have been finished. And then there is another verse that seems to rule out a rapture at any point during the bowl judgements in Revelation 15:7-8, because no one will be able to enter into God’s Temple in Heaven during the time of those judgments.

Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

Revelation 15:7-8

Furthermore, when Christ returns in Revelation 19 to fight against the two beasts and the world powers attacking Israel, we know that Christ will already have the saints with him based on Revelation 17:12-14. And if we connect the hour that the ten kings and the beast receive their authority to the hour that the Church of Philadelphia is spared from, then there is no difficulty in understanding how the saints came to be with Jesus when He comes to battle the beast, i.e., because they were raptured.

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast. These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.

Revelation 17:12-14

And I would say that the hour of testing can’t mean the seals, because I think we are already in the time of the seals. You can check out my video, The Seals Are Opening: Tribulation Signs 2020-2027 for more on that. That then leaves the most likely understanding that the Church of Philadelphia would be kept from either the trumpets and bowls or at least the bowl judgements. And of course, if that is a reference to the rapture, then it doesn’t just mean the Church of Philadelphia in America, but it really means faithful believers all around the world. In fact, the warnings and promises of the letters to the seven churches clearly apply to the whole church, even though the letters are broken down into seven different groups in Revelation chapters 2 & 3.

So what then am I saying about America, and really any similar faithful bastion of Christianity around the world? I think that troubles will certainly come, but the Lord will also hold the door open for His work to be accomplished until He comes to gather His elect. After that, well, that’s a different matter.

But What About Trump’s Head Wound and Other Concerning Signs?

The attempted assassination of Donald Trump was something that I presume almost no one in the world failed to hear about. It was a clear act of God to spare Trump’s life, but it was also an event that caused the whole world to be amazed. So could that have been a possible fulfillment of Revelation 13:3? Perhaps, but we should also remember that Satan knows the prophecies, too, and could potentially orchestrate false signs. Thus, I wouldn’t jump to conclusions on that one just yet.

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Some might also point out that Trump is the one who pushed the Abraham Accords through, which I believe is the confirmation of the covenant with the many from Daniel 9:27. But once again, I wouldn’t jump to conclusions, because there were a lot of people involved in those, some visible and some behind the scenes.

Others might also mention that Trump was responsible for pushing the development of the COVID vaccine forward and also for implementing the lockdowns. Which is true, and I would love to hear him say that was a bad idea and that we won’t ever do that again, but all of those plans he implemented were recommended and handed to Trump as good sounding solutions to a problem from apparently credible people. So again, that doesn’t mean that he orchestrated any of that.

Some might even say that they think he is boastful and proud like the prominent horn that speaks great boasts and that he is wildly popular, not just in America but around the world. But what about him working at McDonald’s or riding in a trash truck, or other things he has done that also show some genuine humility? And his popularity is high, but he is also polarizing and hated by many, particularly the woke, the marxists, and the globalists.

He even has growing friendship with Elon Musk, whose technological developments seem to be just what the world needs for global communications, the mark of the beast, and medical signs and wonders like making the lame walk and the blind see with his Neural Link chip. Also true, but what about Elon Musk defending free speech and wanting to defend America’s borders, and rescue our federal government?

There are certainly many things to be watching and considering, but I don’t think there is nearly enough evidence to be making accusations about Trump being the Antichrist. I know that everyone wants to know who it is and it is hard to resist not making the call when it seems like there are so many confirming signs, but until a man somehow sets himself up in God’s temple and declares himself to be God, we are just looking at circumstantial evidence, which could be assembled against more than one person right now, including King Charles.

More Evidence that the Time of Jacob’s Trouble is Already Here

Since October 7, 2023, Israel hasn’t had even one day of real respite. The attacks have been relentless both at home and abroad. And the recent attacks at the soccer stadium in Amsterdam only further reinforce such a conclusion.

And Turkey has threatened to invade Israel and President Erdogan just announced that Turkey is severing all relations with Israel. Which greatly increases the likelihood that we are indeed witnessing the run up to the Ezekiel 38 invasion of Israel as the nations surrounding Israel have joined forces and continue to saber rattle against Israel.

Needless to say, the eyes of the world remain fixed on the Middle East and Israel specifically, who the world continues to rage against. With Trump coming into office, one might expect another shake up in Israel-Middle East relations, but in what way? Trump’s election could either inspire evil doers to act now before Trump arrives in office, or they will have to wait for world events to create enough of a distraction that the involvement of the US to defend Israel would be thwarted.

Will the world finally see Saudi Arabia join the Abraham Accords in 2025? We certainly could, and likely will. And what would that mean? The Saudis involvement is very much an enigma. They seem to talk out of both sides of their mouth. What is their true desire and intention towards Israel? We’ll just have to watch and find out.

Speaking of watching something, if you have never heard of Shahram Hadian, he’s a former Iranian Muslim, whose family fled Iran when the Shah was overthrown, and then he got saved as a young man in the US and is now a pastor and end times prophecy teacher. His ministry is called Truth in Love. He is also reporting that a global intifada has been called against the Jews. It is even more widespread than the antisemitism leading up to and during WWII, and not only that but also Christians are included in that intifada and persecution worldwide is at an all time high. If you’d like a second witness, he’s got some really good things to say in this video podcast on his Rumble channel.

Calls for Peace and Safety?

Many understand just how precarious the world has become under the leadership of the Biden Administration. Beginning with the calamitous withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, then the weak and mixed signals sent to Russia prior to their invasion of Ukraine, followed by their release of billions of dollars to Iran, the Biden policies have been simply disastrous for world peace. One might say that it looks very much like they wanted to start WWIII.

Now with Trump’s return to the White House, many are hoping and calling for a new era of peace, and in fact this is exactly what Trump has promised to do, particularly in the Middle East, with Ukraine, and throughout the world with peace through strength.

The concern is whether or not this is leading to the conditions that Paul warned us would come just before the Day of the Lord begins. If Trump is successful in bringing a halt to hostilities, that might even create a global sigh of relief and worldwide calls for “peace and safety,” which it feels like I am already hearing in nearly every discussion of the political climate that exists in the world at present. The sane and common people want an end to war and a return to peaceful and predictable global relationships. But is that what the globalists are looking for? Let’s watch and listen, but I won’t be surprised if people start thinking or hoping that the world is getting better… just before everything really goes off the rails.

Wrapping Up

Will a righteous king arise in Jerusalem in 2027? Will Trump’s seventh year be the year that our long awaited king returns? We don’t have all that long to wait to find out. But if there is one prophecy that I’d like to see fulfilled by Trump, it’s that one.
